Interesting Sudoku Stats

You may have noticed that when you submit a grid, the site automatically sends a copy of the grid you're solving to our database. This was designed so that we could offer other visitors lots of grids to do and keep the site continually fresh and changing.

We thought it would be interesting to share some interesting stats with you.. and here they are:

98%: the percentage of Sudoku grids that are solved by logic only (assuming they have only one solution!)

17: the lowest number count in the grid that gives a valid solution, solveable by logic

60: the number of grids with a number count of 17

5209 : the number of times our most popular grid has been accessed

19499 : the difficulty score of the hardest grid with a unique solution (19 guesses!)
